Born and raised in Los Angeles, John W. Harding is an award-winning journalist and editor who has published features and reviews on film and theater in the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, and other newspapers and magazines. He worked several years as arts editor with the Tribune Company until leaving in 2012 to pursue his fiction writing. “The Ben-Hur Murders” grew out of a lifelong love for early Hollywood history. While the story and characters are largely works of imagination, the novel's background is based on the author's research into primary documents, letters and other archived materials. John now lives in Maryland with his wife.
